Hotel du Vin’s Bubble Lounge gets a glow up
SUMMER: 11–14 JULY / WINTER: 24–27 OCT
We love it for it’s cosy feel, for us The Bubble Lounge always feels just a little bit like home – curl up on one of the sofas with an Old Fashioned and a book, or chatter with friends over a martini or three in the main bar area.
Unsurprisingly for a hotel with wine in it’s very name, the extensive wine list also offers something for everyone and you won’t be disappointed by the bar snack menu either. If you’re in need of something more, dine in the neighbouring Bistro and enjoy French classic dishes with a distinctly British twist.
Over the last few weeks both The Bubble Lounge and the Bistro have had a glow up. A fresh lick of paint, new artwork adorning the walls and an overall upgrade of furniture, fixtures and fittings. We’re absolutely here for the new plants bringing a touch of the outdoors in too! It’s still your old favourite Hotel du Vin, but with a really lovely facelift.
For BCW2023 festival go-ers will be starting their cocktail adventure at The Highland Park Hub at Hotel du Vin so if you can’t find an excuse to pop in for a cocktail beforehand, be sure to have your first signature cocktail of Birmingham Cocktail Weekend at HdV.
