Wheelchair Access For The Highland Park Hub
We are committed to making sure Birmingham Cocktail Weekend is a festival that as many people as possible can enjoy. Have a read of our Accessibility Information here. We hope this page will give you the information you need to plan your visit to The Highland Park Hub but if you need any further information please contact us via email and we will do our very best to assist.
The accessible entrance to Hotel du Vin is located at the side of the hotel on Edmund Street.
On this road you will also find a number of Blue Badge designated parking bays. Find out more about those here.
When you arrive, simply press the call button and a member of Hotel du Vin Staff will let you into the building.
A Hotel du Vin staff member will accompany you on the route to The Highland Park Hub but here is the route they will follow. You will make your way through Pub du Vin towards the double doors marked ‘Lift to Reception’.
Once through those doors, you will see the lift ahead of you.
Enter the lift and press the green button for ‘Reception’.
Exit the lift and go left through Reception. You will see The Highland Park Hub to your left but keep going across the Reception and through the black door for the step-free access route.
When you go down this corridor you will also find the accessible toilets on your left.
Follow the corridor round to your left until you reach the double doors marked ‘Sassicaia’.
Go through these doors for ramp access to The Highland Park Hub.
For cocktail lovers who attended BCW2022, we have chosen a different route for BCW2023 as Hotel du Vin have advised this option has a reduced incline on the ramp. Once you’ve collected your wristband and guidebook and you’re ready to begin your cocktail adventure, you can follow the same route back out of the building.
